Ep 1. Great tits, ivory towers, and masquerade with Hannah Rowland

We had the opportunity to sit down with the one and only Dr Hannah Rowland for the very first episode of the in situ Science podcast! Each podcast we will meet a new scientist and get to know a bit more about what they do and why they do it.

Hannah Rowland is a behavioural ecologist that specialises in understanding how camouflage works and how animals see the world around them. If you have ever wondered  ‘what is Behavioural Ecology anyway?’, or ‘whats so special about great tits?’ listen along to find out.

You can check out Hannah’s very own Behavioural Ecology and Evolution Podcast at thebeepcast.com or check out her research projects at hannahrowland.co.uk.
